Excel Bike Shop Internal Management

In this class project we were given a scenario where bikes were being sold at a loss, in scenario 1, I corrected the issue by increasing gross profit margin. Scenario 2, the margin was shifted to have an increased inventory of the best selling bikes and having the parts for the most profitable bikes by purchase. Scenario 3, I decided not to pay myself and increase the cikes sales to give the next year more liquidity and investment power.

M3 OLAP Part II - Pivot Tables with MS Excel

Oct 16, 2025

  • Executive Dashboard Pivot Table Project I designed a set of reusable Pivot Tables in Microsoft Excel to support an executive-level dashboard and answer key business performance questions. Using the provided dataset, I built dynamic reports that allowed users to identify trends such as top-selling products, sales-force performance, quarterly customer purchases, and product distribution across time. Each Pivot Table was structured with appropriate dimensions and measures, and enhanced with slicers and sorting tools to ensure the reports could be quickly filtered for different years, products, or sales representatives. Throughout the project, I optimized the tables for clarity and accessibility, including cropping and enlarging screenshots for easy readability. The final dashboard enabled users to effortlessly explore best-selling products, identify sales reps with the highest order amounts, determine customer purchasing patterns by quarter, and isolate products sold exclusively in specific time periods. This project showcased my ability to design analytical tools that are both accurate and user-friendly, while supporting flexible, repeatable business insights.
